A privacy-first companion that builds a living map of your mind before you ever sit down with a therapist.
Invite-only early access.
What if you could walk in prepared? What if your first session could feel like your fifth?
You mentioned that rest feels like "falling behind." But when your peer described the same experience, you understood it immediately as healthy.
That gap between what you allow for others and what you allow for yourself has appeared three times now across two different contexts. The Stoic question: where did you place your peace? In the doing, or in the being?
Soc opens the way a therapist would. "What brought you here today? When did you first notice this?" You move from the presenting issue toward the pattern underneath.
"Where do you see this pattern elsewhere in your life? When did it start?" This is the work therapists spend sessions building toward. With Soc, you arrive there in a single sitting because your history is already in your Mind Map.
Each session crystallizes into a Record: a named insight, the patterns that led to it, and suggested frames for exploring it further. Your Mind Map grows. Your next therapy session starts from this insight.
Philosophy and faith are how we make sense of suffering, growth, and purpose. Soc speaks the language of your tradition and finds the stories that speak directly to what you're living through.
There are things you need to say out loud that you can't say to the people in your life. A struggle you're ashamed of. A pattern you haven't admitted to yet. The thought you've never spoken because speaking it makes it real. With Soc and with anonymous peers, nothing you say carries social consequences. No judgment, no history, no relationship to manage afterward.
You both know what you want. You've known for a while. And you've both built very convincing lives around not starting.

Everything you share is encrypted before it is written to storage and held only under a pseudonym. When data feeds analytics, it passes through a second pipeline: NLP scrubbing, a rotating one-way hash, and content minimization. What reaches the analytics store is truly anonymous: no identity, no pseudonym, no raw content. See how it works →
Clerk handles sign-in. Stripe handles billing. An AWS-hosted service sits between them and Pocket Socrates, converting your identity into an anonymous token before anything reaches the app. Your conversations and your credentials never share the same system. We never sell personal data.
Request deletion and everything is scheduled for permanent removal. You have 30 days to cancel if you change your mind. You can also export everything you have built at any time, in full.
When Soc notices you have shared something personally identifying, it prompts you to describe it in your own words before anything is saved. The abstraction you write is what enters your Mind Map. Not the raw detail.
Pocket Socrates is a reflection tool designed to complement professional therapy. Soc helps you prepare for sessions, articulate what you're feeling, and track your progress between appointments.
Peer conversations connect you with people working through similar territory. They are not trained therapists, and the conversations are not a substitute for professional care.
Please reach out to a mental health professional or crisis line. Pocket Socrates is not a crisis tool.
